Easter Mini Cupcakes
I am making cupcakes to bring to work on Saturday and for family on Easter. I posted this picture on facebook and everyone wants the recipe.
Ha Ha here is my recipe.
Here they are just baked for 7 min in my mini cupcake maker, these are the same ones in the top picture but now baked.
Ha Ha here is my recipe.
Here is my batter, I mixed it as directed on the back of the box. then I added purple food coloring to just one side of bowl and did not move the mixer around. Then I did the same thing with Pink on the other side, I was too lazy to do in separate bowls, that would be to much to clean up. I liked it better this way the way there marbled together.
Here they are just baked for 7 min in my mini cupcake maker, these are the same ones in the top picture but now baked.
Next, my frosting recipe, or is it icing, I do not know the difference, anyone?
Are you surprised with the recipe, you should not be if you know me.
I did blend this with green food coloring in a mixer.
I got the frosted.
Not done yet!
Now with Jelly Beans.
But still not done!
LOOK!
Arn't they sooo cute!
I made the toppers with the Create A Critter Cricut cartridge and the chocolate one is fudge filled, Yummy! I made the grass cupcake holders with Cupcake Wrapper cartridge at 2.25 for the height.
I show how to make the toppers in the video. But here are the cutfiles, grass cupcake holder, the toppers I used the same cut file for the easter treat bags and just cut out the mats I wanted, here is the cutfile for those.

She used Create A Critter and Cricut Essentials. She has made it so you can do a few treat bags quickly on one mat or 16 of one layer on one mat. Here is the cut file.
The bunnies and chicks are flocked so they are furry. There is a video and more pictures on her blog post here.

Melody created this 3D fishbowl last September for the Cricut Craft Room Blog challenge. She used the fish bowl from the Animal Kingdom and George and Basic Shapes, if you don't have George you could replace with Craft Room Basics cartridge that is free for everyone. Melody will help you with that if you ask.
Here is the cutfile. You have to download the cutfile from Box.com and then save to your computer and then open in CCR. You can not see the file in any other program. Here is the link to directions on downloading and uploading to CCR.
